I installed a Maxtor 250 gig HD 2 weeks ago. I installed Win XP and once in a while the computer will shut down and reboot and then I get this message, Disk Boot Failure. I go into my Bios and instead of saying Maxtor250, The letters are cluttered and unreadable. After I shut down, It works again. Could I have a bad drive?
