When should I build my next computer?

I've got a good $1,300 ready to drop in it. When should I?

Hold off as long as you can. Prices drop with the exception of RAM possibly. Just hold off if you don't need a new machine for now. Or if you are being savvy you could always invest it for 6 months or so and make some interest on it. Plus then it won't be burning a whole in your pocket.
