Theres a local place called Capilanos. They make great pizza with loads of toppings. I recommend them to everyone. But missing there marinara dip, I recently ordered from Pizza Pizza again, they have a new box design and a space for your cook to sign the box. Do you really need to know that the man who made your pizza is named Zuhio?!

Well I guess it is good to know who made your pizza incase you find a hair, then you can go kick his balls in :) other than that no.

I like Chicken pizza though, mmmm that's good.

My personal favorite pizza is one I dubbed "the heart attack special".
It's a thick crust with extra cheese, pepperoni, italian sausage, sausage, bacon, ham, mushrooms and olives...I can hear my arteries harden as I think about it.

"Pizza Pizza"?... Is that another name for Little Ceasers?

Anyways, my fav. pizza is from a place called Delucas. It's a deep dish, and has Pepperoni, Ham, Sausage, Bacon & Ground Beef.

Best local homemade pizza join in this area is a fantastic place called Como's .. It's actually a fine dining establishment with a large but very intimate dining area. The best part? besides the fact that the food is excellent and the prices low, they're open until 4:00 AM EVERY DAY! W00h00!

Double pepperoni well done so that the topmost pepperonis get slightly burned, mild pepper rings, feta cheese, and bacon.

omfg /me is so hungry now

The best Sicilian (for you uneducated folks, that's yer square lookin' pizza) in my area is from Uberto's. The best Neopolitan is from Tasty's around the corner from me. Koronet Pizza up near Columbia has the largest slices I've ever seen. Their pies are 3 feet across.

I still remember going to NYC just for Pizza the night before induction into the Army. We drove for 3hrs from Pa. to some place downtwn Manhattan and asked for the "special" to go. the shop owner told us he didn't have a box big enough. If we ate it there it would cost us $6.00 and he would box up what we couldn't eat but if we want it to go it would be $12.50. When it came to the table it was three feet across (no Kidding). We ate 3/4 of it between 4 hungry guys. Of course in NYC back then mushrooms and olives were the most you could get on a Pizza.

There was a pizza joint in CA where I grew up called Godfather's Pizza that sold a 5ft pie although I never ate there.
I used to eat at a place called Rico's Pizza and they sold a 3ft pie that was really good...nowadays I get Pappajohns though.

Rico's and Godfathers are both Chicago style pizzerias.
In Berkley CA there's a place that sells by the slice called Blondies...It's in downtown, if you're ever there check them out...if Blondie still owns the place it still should be good stuff.

I like the East Coast style the best and you can put everything on it including the Anchovies. :D I like what some folks call a Garbage Can Pizza

SimGuy

Can't beat Mamma Mastroe's "Canadian Style".

20" across of nothing but the finest hand-tossed light airy crust, scratch-made tomato sauce with a hint of thyme & bay leaf, fresh ground veal (I get this instead of fresh beef sausage), house-smoked pepperoni, home-curdled Mozzarella & white cheddar cheese, fresh bacon and home-grown mushrooms (yes, they do it themselves).

No stuffed crust here. Only authentic Italian pizza delivered hot to your door by Mario himself.

Sit down with a slice and a can of Brio and you're in heaven :D

Yes, there's great pizza outside NYC... It's called the Little Italy district in T.O :D

what I wouldn't do for a d'angelo's shrimp mushroom & artichoke calzone right now ...

d'angelo's workers spit in peoples food sometimes. And they don't know the meaning of the customer is always right or even half right. What kind of place puts whole garlic cloves on pizza/calzones just so you can have a soggy blob in your mouth. Totally disgusting here in Baton Rouge and if I ever hear about them doing it again I'll make sure my footage of it ruins them. :shakehead

Back to the topic: feta and spinach or pineapple and spinach for me.

The Blondie's in SF downtown recently expanded, it's got a whole downstairs cafe thing going. pizza is the same and still good

Anyone ever had Napoleano Style Pizza? I used to scarf that stuff down like crazy as a kid. I grew up in a small town in N.E. Pa. that you would swear was a retirement comunity for the mafia. A lot of well to do old Sicilians that drove big caddys and the streets were terrible because they never got fixed and Columbus Day was the biggest holiday in town every year.
