Hey check this otu guys,

I think its good, but i want to ask you, can I put this like in my glovebox, or do I have to give it a clear line of sight?
I think Beltronics is good, but I havn't seen a radar detector that can fit in the glove box and still work.
Anyway, thre problem with detectors is everyone uses laser now and the only way the sensor is going to if go off is if you already got scanned, and by then its too late. So if you want to speed, either go to Germany, Montana (if they take the speed limit away again), or find yourself a good rural country road that isn't a state highway, but is a county road. And make sure it is not travelled much. Then the only way you can get caught is if in the 1 in a billionth chance a county patrol comes by (they never patrol to begin with) then maybe, just maybe you could get a ticket, oh, but makesure you watch out for towns with a police station. Do this and you are gauranteed not to get caught! ---I do not warranty this in any way, I am sure you could still maybe get caught.
I love the adrenaline rush of 100+ mph (in a truck)

lol did 125 tonight on the way home from church on I 95 in my F-150
me and my friend went 140 all the way to kentucky, stoped at a rest stop, and then went 140 til like alabama.. we made it from south flordia to the thumb of michigan in about 18 hrs....
damn, my trucks to slow, good thing its not mine, cause its got the smallest motor used in the F150 series, smaller than they put into crown vics! Barely goes over 100
I know one day I will buy a truck with the big engine, but I really need to graduate first.

Ok guys, well lets say I did not put it in the glovebox but like on the cup holder area near the grear shift stick. I just don't want to put the detector on the dashboard. Will that still work?

you want a Valentine 1, period. thats the only one you want
I doubt it would work. The kind that would get me interested is one you can mount inside the front grill, so its hidden and yet sees well, it would be wired into the inside somehow then.

are you talking about a radar jammer?? those generally go in the front grill. they also happen to be rather illegal
*in most states, not all, I forget which ones, but they are not legal here, but then again thats what the ... ...but then again you would really make the cops angry, so its a bad idea to begin with

You absolutely MUST HAVE LINE OF SIGHT with any radar detector. I agree with TheBaron;
you want a Valentine 1, period. thats the only one you want
Also, there are a lot of models with remote sensors that are positioned in the grille that are not jammers. Most are too much money for what they are though.
