So I was uhm.. surfing da world wide web when I came across this band (My Chemical Romance) and their new album "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" ... I would classify it as, indy or maybe alternative. Either way its a sweet band and I don't know if you guys are down with either of the aformentioned genres, but if you are you should really give these guys a listen, they are a blast. If you need help getting ahold of the CD I may be able to point you in the right direction just PM me.
:loco:
So are they like, just a guess here but Chemical Brother or more like Ministry or some where in the middle like NiN or Machines of Loving Grace? Either way I'll go hunting for them.

its not as well structured as any of the bands you mentioned... they are similar to bands like the mars volta, sparta, and cursive if you have ever heard of em :)
I have not heard of those particular bands but I think I know what you mean. I'll check it out but not sounding like so much my thing.
oh my god?! they sound like mars volta? man, that cd was one of my favorites of last year. it totally rocked. but i remember, before they came out with the cd, they had a promo disc that had this song called "concertina" and it was the most kickass song ever. but somehow it didnt make it on the cd for some reason. but yeah, mars volta rocks.
[/end mars volta rant]
so i am definitely checking these guys out. btw, has anyone grabbed the latest muse cd? i think its several monthes old, but i am just getting into it and its really good. like some of the tracks are, hmmm, how to say this, but i guess like dramatatic rock, and normally i hate that kind of stuff, but its surprisingly a great cd. people always compare them to radiohead, but A) i dont think they sound that much like them and B) is a radiohead clone really that bad? i mean, we already have the millions of rap/rock bands that spawned after rage against the machine and god knows how many boy bands. anyway, muse is a lot harder than radiohead anyway. i just wanted to know if anyone had picked it up :D

Excuse me?
Do I sense a problem?
Are you calling me retarded?
I will jump on you and shove my throbbing shaft into your eye sockets.
I'm going to say this as politely as you deserve, and then not speak to you anymore... Go to hell... Thank you, and have a nice day.
Now, back to the topic at hand. I've had their latest album for a couple months. I really like them. hey had a concert not too far from here recently I believe. Unfortunately, byt the time I found out, they were sold out.
The used are pretty good too. I went to a concert last year where they opened for Linkin Park. Man, that was one of the best concerts I've been to.

Yeah. I've found most my friend either love them or hate them.
