RedHat: Network Problems

I just installed Redhat 9 the other day and I am having problems with my Network card. When I installed Slackware and Mandrake it was fine but with Redhat 9 it just doesn't detect it. I've tried to manually instal it but im not sure of the type of card. I'm considering getting a new network card for it does anyone know of any cards that work fine with Redhat or of any way I can get my current one to work?

What brand/model of NIC is it?

yeah can't help much if we don't know what nic it is. anyways, red hat is not going to be supporting red hat 9 for much longer, i'd say you're better off sticking with slack or drake.
