Honestly, Mine could have been better.
I went to my uncles for thanksgiving. He had taken care of me for a year some time ago. Anyway, I heard him talking to my aunt about how he may not have enough money to do thanksgiving this year. Hearing that really hurt, so i spoke to him and gave him $50. When I went home, I told my mother, whom got really pissed and began bitching about how I need to save up for a car. (Old one bit it). I dont mind riding the bus to school, and I enjoy giving things away. So now, I am inbetween a Moral and a financial parental tug of war game. Feh.

Meh. Do the right thing, man. There's nothing wrong with giving your uncle $50. Think about perspective. Many people do much dumber things with $50, and you want to do something noble. In this case, ignore your mom, dude.....
Happy Thanksgiving :)

50 bucks, that can make a differance when you are tight for money and bills are due, no matter how small it may seem it all helps. As in contrast to buying a car, 50 bucks dosen't help much at all, 50 bucks can be made up simply by a little wheelin and dealin, a lot more if your good ;)
Good deeds are not forgotten, they are returned 10 fold. Not to mention how good it probably felt to your Aunt & uncle to be able to have you over for Thanksgiving. Your my kind of people dude. Keep up the good thoughts and deeds. Tiss the time of season.
