So I was searching for alternatives to different microsoft products and I stumbled across this site. Not all the software links are free but when it comes down to it some things you just can't get for free.

Cool site kryyst, I saved that one. Think , After I get my network setup, I'll try one of the linux OS's on one of the pcs. Or which one would you guys recommend for someone who hasn't run anything but windows 95,95B,98,98SE,Millenium,XP Home & Pro?

I'd say Mepis it's a boot of cd fully running linux system. But then you can do an install from it. It's very simple and straight forward. It's free, and it's got a massive list of programs that it comes with.

Thnx kryyst, Gonna check it out. I've been wanting to try out a new OS lately, but wasn't sure which to try. Found the Mepis site and saved it till I get my main pc up to DL it. $10 to DL online at highspeed or $17 and they will send you the CD's. Thats cheap enough. And you only have to pay if you want support. You can actually DL the full version and use it if you don't want support with it.
