I cant draw worth crap! I want to design a tat with Blue flames behind a frozen cross. Can anyone design a good one??

Buy a stack of books and find some pictures of what you want. A cross and flames shouldnt be too hard to find then go show em to a tatoo artist. They could always draw you up a few designs, a good artist would be happy to help you out with some ideas...

exactly what i did; it's your best bet. do some research first, though :)

what part of your body do you plan on getting inked, anyway?

heh..people pay me to design tattoo's and the like...and custom bike graphics and stuff..only problem is i can't paint or color for that matter..lol

first of all, which type of cross are you looking for? flames are easily added.

Lin - ok like everyone else we need pics..... 2 out of 3 is fine :)

Gnomewizard - My 2 cents on tatoos. Keep in mind that whatever you get is with you for life (baring surgery) so what may look cool now may become really cheese in 5, 10 - 30 years. So a biggy flashy flaming cross when you are 50 may not be as cool as you thought now. You may want something more subtle or perhaps more meaningfull.

That being said my wife has 3 now and she's been buggin me to get one I just can't make up my mind on what and where.

My 2 cents, this isn't something you want to settle on at all. Get what you really want because it will be with you forever.

My next 2c :), which won't sound like any fun at all would be pick it out and then stick it next to you monitor, mirror whatever for 3 months and after looking at it every day if you still think it's cool go for it imo.

ya gnome, make sure you make up your mind before walking into that place.

get something thats timeless, i wouldnt get anything related to sports/music.

stuff like that changes overnight :(


i think you got the idea though, go for a religious theme or even a zodiac sign.

my next one is going on my forearm in march.
