Vid Card Fan making wierd noise...

its on a 9600pro, and the fan is making a wierd loud noise. At first the comp wouldn't turn on. Once the noise started it would shut down. I cleaned the fan out w. compressed air and that problem stopped, but I'm stlill afraid to run the comp with it making that noise. I really dont want to have to get a new fan for it, so please help!

You could try oiling it but you will need to buy another fan eventually. They dont last forever. They arnt expensive either and you could go for a silent cooler made by someone like Zalman if you dont like fan noise (and who does?)

yea the zalman is good but man its a pain to put together! I just get alike a vantec cooler or something and problem solved for good

wasn't so much a "pain" for me, but it was annoying when I put the thing together backwards, fixed it and then the other side is backwards, and then had to take it all apart again to finally get it right.
