Ive been experiencing lock ups and slow working computer.
I got asus a7n8x motherboard, amd xp 2000+ cpu, 1 gig kingston 3200 ram, and radeon 9600 video card.
Not sure about tempatures. Using motherboard monitor which someone suggested. Seems to work better than asus probe. cpu 37 cel. diod 58 cel and case 37 cel. :rarr:

Yeah, could be heat. It can also be a virus.

60c under load is kinda high even tho AMD says 90c is the killer point. As a rule I would'nt go pass 50c under load. Anything over that I start to worry.

A slow pc can also be caused by too many open apps, but with a gig of ram this should'nt happen as you have way more than enough resources.

Run a virus scan, also take the side panel off the case to see if dropping the temps will help. Then we can attack the problems with another plan.

I ran macfee didnt find any viruses. I guess the temp isnt too bad. Not sure what the diode is in the readings. Could it perhaps be the cpu not getting along with the motherboard. Been looking at the spec in the book and it recommends 2800 + barton. But seems to work good before. hmmmmmmm
