Oldtimer found this cool split panel file manager. If anyone uses it, please give us input on it's ease and usefulness..... xplorer2 (http://zabkat.com/)
All the shell goodies from windows explorer — none of the hassle! Plus all the features you would expect from a powerful tabbed dual-pane file manager, including Omni-Finder, a find files module that simply outclasses all known search tools.

i am a huge nut for file managers. back in the day, i used one called singularity, but lost touch with it, and up until about 2 or 3 years ago, i had been using this tiny one called A43 (http://www.shawneelink.net/~bgmiller/), but finally, i missed singularity so bad that i went hunting for it, and to my surpirse, the company Winability (http://www.winability.com/) is still alive and well. They had just changed the name from Singularity (which i personally think is better) to AB Commander XP (http://www.winability.com/abcommander/). anyway, that is what i use exclusively, and i say everyone should at least give it a shot.
