It's meant to be a slow process I believe, you don't get it terribly quickly even if lots of people give it to you. I'll double check exactly how it works though and report back.

How do you know if you get reputation from someone? I only know how to check by checking my rating, like 10, I don't know how Lin knows exactly how many she is getting, but then again, is that a mod power?

there are little icons.. the secound one gives rep points.. if you click on the one under your name, it tells you how many you have

User CP will show how many rep points you have.

you have to click on "Show" to see who gave it to you (if they signed their name, that is) ;)

Not sure how you could have missed firebat he was stellar. Most of his posts were barely even understandable his exuse was he grew up in the 'hood' of Toronto (I live 1 hr from there, there is no hood in TO) and he did to much crack or something. But anyway he was 1 of a kind.
