i've tried realvnc and TightVNC (http://www.tightvnc.com/), prime. TightVNC has less lag, at least in my experience with it.

I use Ultra VNC, I like it cause you can pick about 8 different protocols, all the well known ones seem to be there. The tools it displays in your VNC window are nice too.
Hehehe, Should I click on that link prime? or did you send it for the spammer? Hehehe

www.logmein.com :)
hey citrix, When you use LogMeIn, you have to load the software on both pc's right?
The pc I want to connect to has to be online, and I just sign in and connect to the object pc. That's it?

yeah, tightvnc is my favorite as far as vnc goes. but for windows xp, um, why not just use remote desktop . . .
I'm going to try remote xp, tightvnc and maybe logmein. Wanna try a couple to see what works better.
Never tried remote access before, so I want to compare ease of use etc.

tightvnc is more secure then remote login. It's also platform independant so if you are doing xp - xp it makes no difference.
Thnx for all the info on this friends.. Like I say, I haven't used remote access yet so this helps me make an informed decision.
I wonder which is best to use for XP pro to XP home?
