Would be Mortal Kombat II - Annihilation ... I'm not a big MK fan, but I thought the movie MK1 was decent, and MK3 was half-way watchable (mainly because it had that German chick that played in Terminator 3), but MK2... oh god. They tried to cram every character from the franchise into movie, and some of them only make an appearance for like, 15 seconds and they're dead after that. Not only did everyone exhibit the most horrendous acting you could ever see, but they were all in spandex! This movie has left a mental scar for life.

Man, Johnny Mnemonic? I didn't think it was that bad. He could hold like, 80 terabytes of data in his brain! :D

One movie I always said I have to watch before I die is Deep Throat, yes the porno with Linda Lovelace from the 70's. Well I finally got around to it the other day. Let me tell you, that was the best porno I've ever seen, not for the sex though. The movie has this Rocky Horror campy feel to it, and the music is awesome. The acting was pretty bad, but it added to the charm. Of course it is a porno and I have to admit I was surprised by how much was shown for a 1970's movie. I highly recommend you guys (and Lin ;) )see it, you will laugh and love this movie. But this thread is supposed to be about the WORST movie you've ever seen and for me, no movie occupies that loathesome place in my heart more than.... The Lord of the Rings. I rented the first with my wife and after an hour we were both looking at each other like why the hell is this garbage so popular? I sat through the entire movie and was bored out of my mind. I can't believe a movie about a bunch of dorks in spandex talking with a British accent while trying to drop a ring in a volcano is so popular. Of course I couldn't wait to play Everquest when it came out and I cancelled my subscription after only two months. Maybe I just don't like the whole fantasy thing or something. Actually I think it was a bit of Star Wars fanboy'ism on my part too. I just couldn't accept anything bumping my beloved Star Wars down the charts. Lucas screwed up Episode 1 and 2 though, so there you go. The bottom line is, for me, LOTR 1 and 2 (I didn't bother watching 3) are contrived, boring, lame, stupid, dorky, geeky, movies only a Birkenstock wearing tool like Peter Jackson could love. I know the flicks made a ton of money and all, but I wonder how much of that was the tools of the world going to see it 17 times in the first two days it came out, and how much it was the average person going to see it. LOTR, the worst movies ever.

Okay, I will admit saying I, Robot was a joke, in regards to LiLbRo's "Bestest Movie Evarz!!!!11!!1" thread, but I do have a new worst movie ever.

Sin City was horrible! It is probably even worse than Minority Report, I don't know. I just saw it a few hours ago.

Lord of the Rings 1 was boring as hell! I never saw #2. I saw #3 in a deal with a friend so he would see a movie I wanted to, and was impressed. What was the fricken point of the first movie? Probably the 2nd too?

zomg

sin city and minority report were both awesome. as far as good sci fi movies go, minority report is about as good as they get. and i dont think there has been a better comic book adaptation than sin city. and dont say spiderman or spiderman 2, because as far as authenticity goes, those get about a D or an F. particularly spiderman 2 . . .

LOTR.... May not be for everyone, but I thought it was a brillant adaptation of a wonderful classic fantasy. As for the worst film ever made, I put my vote in for the Japanese film "Ichi, the Killer". All I can say about that movie is... WTF???

oh man, ichi the killer. i remember hearing that it was the most violent movie you will ever see, bla bla bla, but as far as takashi miike goes, i thought audition was far worse. not as in bad, but as in hard to watch. ichi is just sort of . . . unrealistic. although, there are parts where you are like "is this really in a movie?!"

now, i have to recommend however, if you folks havent seen battle royale, you HAVE to see it. its awesome. that is how the ol' ultra violence is supposed to go down :D

Battle Royale 1 is one of the awesomest movies I have ever seen. :D

Can't say the same for Battle Royal 2. It should be in the list of worst movies. :(

One of the greatest movies I've ever seen, a true classic that must be seen, go rent it right now, not tomorrow, right now. Tell your boss that you're sick and you hjave to leave. Go right now to rent "I spit on your Grave." A more morally challenged movie you will not find.
