Is there a way for me to make it so that anyone using a pc has to log in and if they dont have a log in name then they dont get in?

I know about users....and if I just hit cancel at log in it just loads anyway...how can i limit access...this on W98 mind you...

Thx

I don't believe so in Windows 98.

Why not password the bios instead? Then only you and those you give password to can even start computer. (and those who are savy enough to crack your case)

You can set mandatory passwords for Windows 98, but I believe you have to set that through policies. I've never worked with polcies on Windows 98, so I can't help much further.

In Windows 95, 98, or Me, how can I password protect my computer?
Boot password & Screen saver password.
The only other way to set an access password is to use a third party security program like PC Locker Pro View this program at www.totalshareware.com * Its free.
