Tried to clean off my desk yesterday. Moved most of the computer parts off of it and onto my bed...

Here's a thumbnail (click for full version):

Cookies for anyone who can guess how many video cards were on there to +/- 2, and for the first person to find the pentium 2 cpu in the pic.

I think there's a Pentium 2 underneath that dual-core Voodoo (?) graphics card. It's to the rear-right of mobo enclosed in the anti-static bag up front. Or that could be a hard-drive.

So... where do you sleep now? :p

7 & 10 are both way off :p, and the only thing inside that a/s bag is an asus p2b-d rev. 1.06 with a couple of SECC2 heatsink retention frames attached to it.

Hints:
a. you can't see every graphics card in the pic easily, if at all... you'll have to guessstimate based on how many you can see
b. the cpu is no longer, ah, one with its plastic shell, as it were. It's destined to become a keychain, so I've removed the shell.

oh, and Versello... I sleep on the desk, of course ;)

//edit
Oh, and yes, all the dual-GPU graphics cards in the pic (that you can see) are Voodoo 5 5500s. There's also a 3dlabs dual GPU card in there but you can't see that in the pic I don't think.

23 and 30 are closer... and yah, 5 v5 5500s.

Lin: that's just part of the stuff i have in my *room*. 1/4 of the garage is full of my computer parts too. :kaka:

Due to an oversupply of cookies, I'm also going to give them out to the first people to find the GeForce FX 5800 Ultra, the G4 logic board/cpu/ram (they're all together), the 2 dual p4 xeon boards, two AT boards, two power supplies, and the first person to guess what CPUs are in the dual socket 7 board (you'll have to find that too... hint: it's near the G4 board and isn't in a static bag), and the first person to guess how much RAM it has in it (it's got 16 SIMMs)

What are you going to do with all this? Build a giant supar-computar to take over the world? Rarr..

Nah, build a bunch of little supar-computars and take over the world...

I've got a bunch of old parts, cables and boards in the attic. I don't know what to do with them. They're in a plastic storage box for the moment.

But nothing like THAT pile of silicon vomit!

If anyone has any spare parts, you can always donate them to the folding effort. Perhaps icrontic can start a project similar to short-media's SMX project.

Hey, I'd host a foldin machine for Icrontic, just don't have many parts myself.

Hey Geeky,  :fu:
