Thanks. Well, things are going FASTER now, a bit, than they were. Fewer Tinkers hitting the boxes, methinks... :D Only little thing I have to do now and then is pick up voicemail so the Zoom can dial out for the Barton-- it thinks the broken dialtone AIN'T a valid one and appears to lock according to dialup networking. what dialup netowkring does not know, is that the modem is sitting there telling me I have voice mail. Pick up voice mail, reset modem,about every 4-5 days. this is after I got a backup dialout internet connect for the Barton box. Was going nuts trying to figure out how to get the Linux box to send WUs for the Windows box. Oh, well, no router for now for me, need a heavily firewalled one, modem was cheaper because HAD it.

But now it is cooler, both boxes rock a bit. Appreciate the kudos! :D
