*sigh*
I was forced to reformat my harddrive without backing anything up. I've gotten most of my stuff back (except screenshots and pictures), but my sound card wont work [SB0220]. It was working fine right beforehand. I've downloaded every semi-related driver I could find. One driver came with a weird mixing program and when I click 'test speakers' I get sound but no other program will get anything out of them. I'm guessing it is related to my bios, although I really dont know very much about computer components.

Any suggestions? =/

If you have onboard sound for your mobo it's possible that the bios is defaulting to it and not the soundcard.

I palyed around with it some more a few days ago and it's working now, YEY. The drivers/mixer package thing I was talking about saved the day. :)

Thanks for the help
