Check out some info about this amazing development in PC graphics.

A little over a year ago, we first heard about a company called AGEIA whose goal was to bring high quality physics processing power to the desktop. Today they have succeeded in their mission. ASUS Debuts AGEIA PhysX Hardware

Next week, there will be one more hardware component available to add to an enthusiast PC. BFG will begin selling a physics board that is built around Ageia's PhysX processor blueprint and promises to bring a new level of graphics experience to the PC.

They're gonna have to be a few more games that support it before its worth buying. All the respected developers seem to be more interested in havok, the comparison videos of GRAW were nothing special.

Best point comes from firingsquad:-
AGEIA Novodex is said to be used in the single-player GRAW version for added PPU-accelerated effects – at the most AGEIA appears to be used for particle effects – and in no-way affects game-play outcome. AGEIA is NOT used in any way in any GRAW sku other than the PC.

It's very interesting technology, but like with any technology, early adopters pay $$$ for very little added benefit.

The technology is sound, the implementation is the problem.
