Ok, you've been given a bunch of money, and as an enthusiast you feel that you have to build a new machine. Now im hoping that we can produce different builds, different ideas... Im sure most are going to be AMD 64 x2's... but if you have an idea for a Intel chip, toss it in, always nice to see people working with Intel as well.
Rules :
- Monitor is required in your build
- Has to beable to play both WoW and BF2
- Speakers/Headphones are not considered in the build
- Attempt to make a consideration to temp control

Rapture, I'm researching a computer that I'm actually going to build, and once I get all the parts figured out, I'll post it on this thread if I remember. But I'm researching the monitor right now, and it's between the Dell Ultrasharp 2407 WFP monitor that u had posted, and the Samsung Syncmaster 244T. Now I was leaning toward the 244T, but I noticed that you and I agree on the RAM, hard drives, and conroe processor, so I needed to ask you, why do you pick the 2407 over the 244T? I had read about a whining noise in some of their power supplies, and also that 1 in 5 have dead pixels. Samsung has a zero dead pixel policy. I appreciate your info, thanks a lot!
