Fanbois lobby to keep ATI brand alive

I can understand fanboy's who want to keep a comic book character around or a movie franchise or most sorts of media icon's active. However I don't think I'll ever understand the fanboy band to PC architecture. I certainly understand being fond of a brand but if it's ATI or changed to AMD it's the same thing. I just don't get it.

Besides everyone knows Nvidia are better :) Now if AMD means that ATI actually can get decent drivers I could be eating my words.
