At last, solid-state hard disks are making a common appearance, particularly in the notebook arena where battery life usually outweighs a few extra greenbacks. However, you'd be surprised what's actually driving the innovation behind larger SSDs. According to this Dailytech (http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=7546) article, it's the desire to install more crapware on Vista boxes at OEMs. Anyone else irritated by this trend?
