View Full Version : AMD BE-2350 reviewed
That's right, the AMD BE-2350, the 45w TDP chip based on Brisbane intended for LV desktops and HTPCs has hit the streets. The gentlemen at PCPer have a review (http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=416&type=expert) of the chilly little guy.
//edit: Another review at Viperlair (http://www.viperlair.com/reviews/cpu_mobo/amd/be2350/).

If they honestly take another 20% off the top of current prices, they will flat out own Intel in price vs. performance in all the mid range markets and even low range market.
The only thing that will save them in the high-end is if they release a new Quad core chip at 1/2 the cost of Intel's top chips...
