Brought woefully into the world with tattered banners, a dreary crowd and off-key fanfare, a recent driver update has failed to deliver the performance crown that AMD promised for its offspring.
The 8800GTS in both the 320MB and 640MB varieties continues to surpass the card in any game engine using any graphics language. With up to a $100 higher price tag and a complete disregard to energy efficiency, it's all dead roses for the chaps in green.
