Oh, I'm sorry we have trees.

Yep and that's where you put the signs under the low branches

I've been all over Florida and Texas, I've driven to Ohio a few times as well... so far the worse roads I've seen are Houston in almost every way. Potholes yet never ending construction, poor road signs, crazy roads that make no sense in which way your going especially downtown, and most of all.... crazed drivers that not only have no clue on how to drive, but drive while talking on the phone, riding your ass and I swear on multiple occasions people are driving with a damned beer in their hand; don't even get me started on road rage... Only in Houston... Not to mention Pasadena is a POS hole in the ground and the rest of Houston is not much different.

I've driven through every city that touches I75. Detroit is the worst for potholes, strangely placed curbs, and crazy-ass drivers...

But maybe thats because when I drive in Detroit, I'm almost always trying to follow Prime somewhere... ;)

DogDragon: what part of Florida, because here in Tallahassee, finding road/warning signs is almost a guessing game. Many are taken down or knocked down and never replaced, leaving local drivers to just know the routes and out of towners to get tickets.

He lives in the part where they drink homemade 180 proof rum like it was Hi-C fruit punch. And yes, it does burn the whole way down.

Slowly, at that. Maybe by your fourth trip here you'll realize 35 actually means 50.

Prime... King of Running Yellow Lights with people following. ;D

Glad I know that 35 is 50.... :D

Jax?? I hate driving in that town, well, I hate driving the interstate system in that town. It is almost as bad the nightmare of potholes, construction, and old and out of state drivers that makes Orlando such a ****in nightmare to drive in (I lived there for a while).

Yeah that's for sure. Maybe by next year I'll learn enough of the streets that we won't have to follow so closely.

Plus, this was the first year that CB had to drive... all the previous years he rode with me.

As far as the street sign issue... they were there, but for some reason they weren't usually visible until 50 yards or so past the turn...

It would be sweet if a map was drawn up with directions to all the places we'll be going, and copies were made for each car. :)

Then we wouldn't have to do the dangerous caravan thing next year.

Yeah, but that would be the efficient, planned solution... since when do we do things like that around here? ;D

Yeah, but from going to other LAN parties (and next year I plan on attending this one, I've known some of you far too long on these forums) the dangerously speeding and swerving caravan is one of the more entertaining aspects, especially if you are the lead car.
