According to Softpedia, Microsoft's newest operating system, Windows Vista, has more than 60 routines which collect information (http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=40723) about the user and his or her habits. Almost half of these routines phone home to Microsoft, they say. Hackles raised in 3... 2... 1...

You're surprised??? Was anybody surprised? I doubt they even touched the surface. But spying on my habits isn't exactly the most horrific crime I see, I wonder what all they are looking at.

I don't like that. Another reason to not get vista.
Let's bring back ME! I doubt that has the mental capacity to phone home correctly... :D
