Can anyone recommend me a mobo and ram for a quad core proc? At least 2gb of ram and the mobo doesn't have to be SLI or a big overclocker.

Anything in asus's P5B is solid.

Also any ram with Micron's D9's should be fine.

Boards with Nvidias 650i chipset are pretty solid and fairly cheap as well, mine ran around $110 shipped.

As for ram, Micron D9 are great, but I don't know easy they are find these days. Mine are D9's but they were made last year, current versions use something different.
