Yeah, but I had used pirated versions of PS for so many years, I owed it to Adobe to at least buy a full retail copy when I could afford it. After that, I have recommended several client purchases of the full Adobe Creative Suite as well as legitimizing their copies of software, etc. At one shop I turned 15 pirated copies of Win XP into 17 legit copies. It was expensive, but not nearly as expensive as (for example) having a disgruntled former employee call the BSA on the shop.

When I built the original incarnation of my current gaming system about three years ago, I bought a copy of WinXP. Best thing I have done in a while and it was great to finally have a legit copy, since the last legit copy I had was Win98se that came with an old laptop.

Welcome to the world of legit software. It took me till just before service pack 2's release for me to go legit.

Good for you! I know a lot of people that own legit copies of xp that crack it anyway because they were annoyed with the re-activation process.

I once considered calling in about a former employer because of the way they were treating their employees. I didn't because I knew it would bankrupt them and cost good people their jobs that they needed.
