Call to Duty punkbuster problem

Help! Have had Call to Duty game for more than a year now...always play online...never a problem. Suddenly last week I can no longer stay on a site...as soon as it loads...I get kicked by Punkbuster, saying "handshake not exe." What the heck is that? And how do I fix it? I tried re-loading and the 1.5 patch...no help. Anyone with ideas? It's my favorite game! (Actually it's my only game, heh,heh):confused:

Never played it but I do play Call of Duty2 and I have heard of similar problems. Seems the answer is to update punkbuster.
