Internet speed getting slower

Hi, over the past two weeks my internet speed(Comcast Service) has seemed to be slowing down and i don't know why. I tested the speed at http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/
and this is wat i came up with.

Download speed: 207kbps
Upload speed: 1581kbps

Please help.

Also, this lack of speed has caused me not to be able to visit some websites.
My Computer: WinXP SP2 1gb ram ie6 comcast internet only computer on router

Sometimes changing your IP speeds things up a little, but in my experience its down to the ISP, not the pc.

I would call your ISP and tell them whats going on... probably might even get a month of free service out of it, if you play your cards right.

nevermind. i reset my modem and the speeds jumped
down: about 21000 kbps
up: about 1600kbps
