My bet is that he is about to get reamed from the little I've read so far, and is about as much as I'll willingly read into the case :P Like I give a damn about some "celebrity".

Uh, he's not a celebrity, he's a criminal.

Any one else with his record would not be big news. Murderers turned robbers are an everyday occurance. The media thinks this guy is special, and the public reinforces that by feeding into the sensasionalism. He's not special, and posting the picture, and encouraging discussion just makes you another sheep feeding the machine.

Please don't feed the idiot machine.

I bet after he gets acquitted, he writes a book...'if I was to rob sports memorabilia place, this is how I would do it...'

The man is a sociopath and he belongs in a cage. I don't really care how or what reason lands him there as long as thats where he winds up. Its typical of our court system though. The police catch the badguy, bulletproof/slam dunk case, and he walks because he has a high dollar attorney that manages to sway the idiot minds of 12 of his client's moronic peers.

I'm confused, who is this guy, and what has he done?

...something he will probably buy his way out of again.Nah, not that. It's a matter of if 'they' can find a jury as stupid as the last one.

Jokke, he's a former American Football player whose wife and her boyfriend were brutally married. The direct and forensic evidence was overwhelmingly against Simpson in his criminal trial. The only stronger possible evidence would have been a clear videotape of the murder event. He was a acquitted by a jury. A subsequent civil lawsuit for "wrongful death" found him liable. This whole media coverage of the trial was a shameful media circus. It's as if a nuclear bomb could have destroyed a major city but the news media would still have put the Simpson trial as their prominent coverage. Unfortunately, there are many millions of Americans with empty heads who make following celebrities one of their favorite diversions.
