is there a lcd monitor stand that I can replace or modify with an adapter that swivels for my 19" Planar PL1910M lcd monitor. The monitor only tilts, and has no height or swivel adjustments.

I'd like it if at all possible that it be able to swivel from landscape to portrait.

There are tons out there. A good one will cost you ~$150 but you can get into one for under ~$100. Personally I'd spend the $150+ because a good monitor arm/stand will last you your whole life.

thanx for the links.

however, I prefer not to mess things that involve drilling and clamping. so the arm stands and clamp stands are out. negs for are that the price on these things are a major drawback and I'm not all that interested in them. they just dont' grab me. :)

however, I did find a few the desktop stands.

I didn't like this one as it looks kind dorky & dinky.

not sure about this, are there models that let you build a multi-monitor set up starting from one monitor with one deskstand without discarding the pieces? that is are these things "modular", assemble them in pieces.

do any them require a manual rotation from landscape to portrait screen mode? I've seen one model that requires you to manually unscrew & loosen a knob, rotate the screen and re-screw & re-tighten the knob?

I'm intrigued by this, wouldn't mind having a multi-monitor setup, but I'd would want to build such as setup as I go along when funds are available. :)

the most I'd prolly go for would be a 3 monitor setup.
