Turn off computer - it restarts

New hard drive - installed with XP home edition.

When I turn off the pc - following the log off - then turn off computer routine. Instead of switching off after saving settings, - it restarts.


Advice please.

Check to see if you have any wake on lan or usb settings enabled in the bios.

Update: Turns out it was the motherboard drivers that caused the problem. Motherboard was alot older than I thought, so I reformatted the drive, re-installed minus the m/board drivers, everything now working ok.
