I have had my Ipod for a few weeks. Yesterday it got really scuffed while in my pocket. The silver back panel has lots of scratches. What would be the best method of getting rid of these marks.

You might try a metal polish like brasso, and then buff the living hell out of it. After that, buy a jacket for it. You can also try polishing it with crest toothpaste, which will fill in minor scratches. After that, move onto the brasso.
At all steps, use a cotton, low-lint rag.

There is also a plastic/lexan polish called Novus. I believe there are 3 steps. I think you want # 2 or 3.
Also, Mothers makes a plastic polish for cars, for us on headlight/taillight lenses, etc. Might want to look into that.
