msvci70.dll and some log files...

out of the blue i saw this file msvci70.dll on my D: partition... does anyone know how and why it's there? i'm just cleaning up unwanted files for space...

i also found a folder 7c9b09ffd1e243b5e0a2cbb458 with some log text file... %temp%dd_msxml_retMSI.txt

what is this and should i remove them?

the random character folder is a temp folder that gets created when you do certain windows updates. it's safe to delete.
