wake on lan wireless

i know that wakeonlan is possible with PCI Ethernet Adapters or On most ethernet capable connections... i've got a usb wireless adaptor... is it possible to do wake on lan with these? or is it just a hardware dependent feature?

Hardware dependent...and I've looked for wake-on wireless too. I haven't see it.
