The <a href="http://modders-inc.com/reviews-story--166.html" target="_blank">G9 mouse</a> is unfamiliar territory for your mouseing hand.

Looks like a step backwards for ergonomics :/

I don't think I understand the objective of the 'extra body'...

I think they reached the pinnacle of right-handed ergonomics with the MX500. I own several MX510s and a MX518 but I find myself missing their navigation buttons on my G5 and G7.

I bet that thing will be hell to clean.

I agree, drasnor. I'm still using my trusty old MX510--love it.

I still use my MX500 at work and it has just the right buttons for me.

I use the G7 that I won at the LAN at home, and since it's the old revision I definitely notice the lack of button. It's still a great form factor though.

G9 is on my potential mouse shopping list especially after my current Saitek keeps randomingly reconnecting :sad2: *Searches for MX500* :cool2:
