Unable to get adults to pay attention to your product or message? That's okay, focus on the long-term: try to convince the children (http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20070926-wipo-tries-to-educate-kids-about-copyright-with-surprisingly-fair-results.html).

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has recently released a relatively wordy children's workbook (http://www.wipo.int/freepublications/en/copyright/935/wipo_pub_935.pdf) aimed at 9 - 14-year olds. The program is designed to teach children about what a copyright is, how a copyright is enforced, what constitutes 'fair use', and even how Public-Domain works.

The program has it's critics, of course. "I think we have to be very careful not to manipulate young children under the guise of educating them.", says William Patry, senior copyright counsel at Google.

I think this is the dumbest thing in the world. So what if you educate children on fair use, or any of that gobblety gook. If they want something for free, they're still gonna take it. It's too easy to do this crap.
