I know the forum has downloads of stuff like spybot etc but im not sure which ones are vista compatible. is adware vista compatible. so if anyone knows of a list of this stuff that is compatible with vista. after installing some of my software and causing myself a whole slew of problems. Im just about afraid to install anything on here.

Vista has built in support for zip. You just double click on it and put the file within wherever you want. Just like XP.

I use WinRAR. It works for me in Vista, and it unzips most formats.

If it doesn't unzip with Vista, it won't work with any other program. The file was somehow protected.
