Hi, Currently I am majoring in Computer Engineering and I have started to have second thoughts about this major. So far nothing we have done feels like it excites me or feels like something I would want to be doing for the rest of my life. One major I was looking at for awhile was an MIS degree (basically a comp sci and business together). I was curious if anyone had any idea about the job security in that field or the expected income. Thank you for your responses.

How long have you been in the major? Often, the beginning (or even intermediate) courses in an area can be less than exciting since they have to teach you a lot to get to the good stuff. :)

I was originally going for computer engineer as well, which I found too math-intensive. But my college offered a program called Network and Information Technology Administration, which combined server administration with business, and I really enjoyed the program. Anything with business will help you land a job, even if you can't apply it specifically to the field you were learning.
