COLORSHINE vs CrystalBrite

getting a new laptop for a family member and i come across two similar lappies that i will choose from, but i realise that one has WXGA COLORSHINE screen while the other has WXGA CrystalBrite

can anyone tell me whats the difference between the two and which one is better? or are the two terms referring to the same thing?

Do you have a link? This sounds to me like a lot of brand name BS. In other words, I bet it makes very little difference, other than to make the buyer think he's getting something special.

Update: Maybe I was wrong. Sometimes new LCD processes/technology comes along that really does make a big difference. Here's (http://www.screentekinc.com/asus-colorshine-lcd-screens.shtml) a description of both of those trade names. I've probably seen these two technologies working while looking at laptops at stores and didn't even know it. Maybe you can go to a large computer retailer like CompUSA or Fry's and ask to see laptops with these types of screens.
