The first million is the hardest. The rest are <a href="http://www.moolanomy.com/182/first-million-is-the-hardest/" target="_blank">relatively simple</a>!

I find it disheartening. College degree and I still can't afford to invest $15k/year.

The secret for Ghoosdum and I is that our company matches 100% of up to the first 7% of our contributions. It is a killer benefit.

Yes, that is something I seriously miss about working at best buy. They were 100% on the first 5%, 50% on the next 5%. :( My new company offers no such benefit.

That's a level of match that very few companies compete with. I'm surprised; I would have never expected it of Best Buy.

Sounds like I need to ignore my college loans and invest like this.

Fleetwood use to be 100% for the first 15% but than it went to 1005 for first 1% and now it is nothing... good thing I am leaving after today....
