...since last August I have been aiding a family re-integrate they're bi-polar son to normal living. For most of this time I was subjected to "abuse" from said individual and his mother ..... and tonight was the last straw... the last insult if you will!!!!!!!!. An opinion of a famous person was being discussed (Anderson Cooper Gay or not Gay?) and I simply stated that you could not believe everything you read in a Blog - not that I believed either statement. Then I was reminded that the surest deliverers of truth == The TV media had also reported on this blog.. I responded with your obvious retort and bang !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mother stands up and yells at me(for an extended period of time) and leaves the room ....slamming the door behind her.
:mean:
I'm out as far as I'm concerned... I have my own problems to deal with :werr:
Just thought I would share a little of my daily mania with you all ....;D
PS... please don't say WHAT Sledge ...... I am not in the Mood:nudge:
;D
.....PSS am I overreacting or should I get, while the getting' s good!

Sounds like the mother is bi-polar too. Depression has been known to be hereditary. 1) Does this family appreciate your time and help or are they just glad that they don't have to deal with the kid if you are around? 2) You are not a door mat. This woman obviously has problems of her own. I mean who snaps at a known fact: Not everything you see on a tv is true. (enter sarcasm) I mean tv would never lie would it? News Media wouldn't pick up a rumor to sell advertising time would it?

Sounds like you have made your mind up.

I thought this family appreciated my time and help, but now I am not to sure!?... Hell I helped keep the ungrateful cretin off the streets and attempted to assimilate him back into society ....And yes I am positive that the mother is bi-polar as well, and in my non-professional opinion much more mentally ill than her son. The brainwashing that this family has succumbed to was truly the most disparaging element of the confrontation. I tried to explain that anybody can write a blog and that many a tall tale has been delivered via the TV....the way they reacted to this was to explain how she(the mother) knew that AC was gay by his body movements...and that major media news never lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rolleyes2
Honestly ... I could care less if AC was the biggest butt-pirate in the world!!!
...:mad:I hate being used and played for a fool and insulted and berated for attempting (what in this case is probably impossible) to help others!!! - you are right Bad_Karma ; I have made up my mind.
The only remedy for bipolar disorder is pharmaceuticals.

Unfortunately Thrax is 100% right on here...and even then its hit or miss with them on effectiveness.
Pharmaceuticals don't cure anything, unforturnately.
Nobody said anything about a cure.
Nobody said anything about a cure.
I did! LOL
