Spring forth burly protector! AMD is posed to bring a grain of hope (and DX 10.1) to those of us still using AGP graphics cards. Rumors suggest the Radeon HD 3850 will have an AGP variant.

oh come on. It will be years before I will be able to afford a whole platform upgrade for certain AGP computers in my house. This is very good news to people without the budget for constant computer upgrades.

I agree too Prime, still funny s**t from Thrax.
I started pricing out a new PC build for next summer. (Got the OK from the Boss (wife, well in 53 days she'll be my wife)) to build a new machine.
Anyway, I started pricing stuff out, and adding 15% to the prices, since next summer's hardware will be better, faster, more Uber......
... I stopped when the price of the computer I wanted to build exceeded the value of the Mustang GT I have sitting in my driveway!!!
Unless my family has a windfall of some serious $$$$$, I think it will be many more months before I embark on a new build. Dare I say I might just buy a XPS system from Dell, with an extended warranty.... (even more )
