Seagate this week has been forced to confess that it shipped disk drives that were infected with viruses.
The virus was loaded by a sub-contract manufacturer in China.
Kaspersky Labs has brought this to Seagates attention.
The virus [Virus.Win32.AutoRun.ah.] deletes similar viruses and can disable virus detection software as well.
The virus is sending stolen passwords from World of Warcraft and other Chinese games back to China.
