How would you guys like to fold on one of these (http://www.sicortex.com/products/sc072) babies?

48 gigs of RAM, 72 cores, $15,000, and only pulls 200 watts... and all I can think is, "Damn, my PS3 supposedly pulls 200 watts."

72 MIPS cores. There's nothing anywhere there about what kind of processors... So I'm thinking that you'd have to "roll your own" FAH client for this thing o.O

lol I have that case at the moment :bigggrin: Antec Titan Server Case (actually fills a small portion of my room :wink:) Shame mine doesn't have 72 cores :sad2:

Should run the Folding Linux client without problem. Might take a minor tweak, but I bet it's totally feasible.
