Hello

I have a Dell desktop running xp pro.

The problem is it ether reboots continues or I get the BSOD or some times it boots and all I have is my background and the only thing I can get to work is task manager.

any help is appreciated

ok not shur what i did but i can get on line with it now.

are there any programs tthat i can down load to help?

How old is it? I see these knids of problems in older computers (cept the BSOD) it might benefit you to put up a HiJackThis report. I cant read 'em, but enough people here can to see if your infected.

WHOOPS! I forgot you can't get into the internet, can you? if you can get in and download the program, put one up.

can you get to safe mode?F8 key.Is the BSOD on long enough to get error code?Have you installed any new hardware or software or downloaded some thing recently?Was pc acting strangely or running slow before this BSOD?Yes and how old is the computer?A little more info please.

Your problems sound spyware or hardware related. If you can download you should download Hijack this as Gate28 suggested and post a log in the spyware area. Also you should download and run memtest to check your ram http://www.majorgeeks.com/Memtest86_d4226.html. You may also hddlife to check you hard drive http://hddlife.com/ . You might want to download AVG Anti-Spyware Free http://free.grisoft.com/doc/download-free-anti-spyware/us/frt/0
and run a scan in the meantime while you wait to hear from the Spyware Team
