View Full Version : TV IT Geek Humor...
I've been watching TERMINATOR: The Sarah Connor Chronicles on Fox. Not a lot of new stuff on TV since the strike is going on.
So far it isn't bad for a TV show, about what I expected..
In the second episode, the guy playing John Connor goes into a computer store, plays with a computer, then leaves in a rush when the saleswoman shows him he's been surfing on the demo-lappy, that is hooked up to a big flat screen behind him...
As he's leaving, I noticed the address/store number on the door - 1337
LOL! had to rewind the DVR to make sure I saw it correctly! Now I'm watching each episode twice, once for the story, once looking for other easter eggs!

Haha. I spotted it too. I figured it was a coincidence. Who knows!

How is this show?
How is this show?
Its above average.
In this show there is defiantely more eye candy.
The Terminator sent back to protect John/Sarah is a teenage looking 20 year old -played by Summer Glau.. She is definately easy on the eyes...
The effects are very good for a TV show.
So far I'm liking it!

The shaky-camera thing that everyone seems to interested in doing bothers me, but otherwise I'm enjoying the show so far.
There have been a few annoying cuts, and Sarah is a little softer than I think she should be, but I'll go through at least the first season.

It is also the year that Sweden banned slavery. But in the world of computers and geeks it stands for leet, a short version of Elite..

I watched the first two episodes and have DVR'd the next one... I am liking it alot... As stated Summer Glau is nice... It's good to see her in something else since Serenity...
She also does a good job in 4400, but I feel like I'm that show's only fan.

no way, 4400 is a great show. It's the show that Heros got there idea from. But 4400 is WAY better

I <3 Summer Glau.
But I haven't watched this show, it's obvious from the previews that it's a complete break from Terminator canon.

You missed it then, Summer is NEKKID 2x times in the 1st episode! One time she's nekkid, and kicking ass! Nothing finer than a hot naked chick, kicking ass....... ROFL!
No, not really. so far they have done pretty well.
Other than the usual time-travel paradox we're all used to from Star Trek, and other movies/shows, T:TSCC has kept things intact.

I don't find summer glau very (Okay, at all...) attractive, but she makes for a great unlikely sci-fi star.

She was cool in Serenity (I never watched Firefly) but when I saw her in The Unit, it was rather "meh".
