We've had Icrontic LAN's since 2004, with each year growing bigger and better!!!

We've had Icrontic's first Oktoberfest in 2007 with great success....

Now, as Official Icrontic Party Planner, I present:

Icrontic's First St. Patrick's Day party!!!

WHEN: March 13-16th (thursday evening, like 6pm or so til sunday)

WHERE: IcronticHQ (aka Prime's house, Warren MI)

WHAT TO BRING: BIARZ!!!! We had autumn beerz for Oktoberfest, this time bring that Irish Brew, that Spring Wheat, that Bottle of Peach/Pear Vodka. It don't matter, just bring teh biarz!! We will of course be visiting the Kuhnhenn Brewery & Winery (http://www.kbrewery.com/). Also bring a computer/laptop if you want, I'm sure we will be playing some drunk TF2!

Bring sleep type things: Pillow, sleeping bag, or whatever you need to sleep on floor ;) I ALREADY CLAIM LARGE COUCH!

Bring your own towel, etc.

You all know the drill, POST here if you are coming.

Yea, Unofficial is pretty ridiculous here. My freshman year I bypassed the drinking and just went to a hookah bar, and on my way back home at like 2am I saw several ambulances and the police were all over. Normally people are drunk and stumbling all over the quad by about 10am. I'm legal now, so I expect this year's unofficial will be kraaaazy!

Well apparently Southwest has decided that "high traffic dates" can require more than one ticket. So to go to IC HQ next week (I'm guessing spring break is high traffic, dunno) I would have to burn two of my tickets for one trip. Resulting in me having to sit this one out.

Basically I've been having network issues all day.

CB Droege has been having network issues all day.

It ruined our TF2 game (at least for the two of us)

So finally we crack down and start checking into it.

Now, we have TT, myself, thrax, et. al all checking into this problem

We spent almost 2 hours trying to figure it out. We started checking into DHCP database viability, corrupt arp caches, more advanced things like that.

NO one could figure it out. We were all stumped.

Finally, I said "what if we have the same MAC address?"

Nobody thought that was even remotely possible. I mean, the chances of an identical MAC are ... what, 17 billion to 1 or something?

Well, finally we gave in and to humor the thought, we read off our MAC addresses.

It was like reading a lotto ticket. When we read the sixth number and it was identical, the whole room erupted. WE HAVE THE SAME EXACT ****ING MAC ADDRESS.

ICSP has turned into 4 people playing rock band, then rest standing around. Yes there is some rotation, but a couple people havent played, some have left ICHQ to do other things, 1 guy is playing a nintendo ds and even a couple are just hanging out on the forums.

We easily had more than 3 dozen different types of beer present throughout the LAN, and it was <i>awesome</i>.
